Emergency First Aid at Work – Mercury Theatre, Colchester

Emergency Doctors Medical Service, Education & Development team carried out Emergency First Aid at Work training at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester on the 6th & 7th March.

The general manager, Carol Rayner, had this to say about our training; “Seeing our staff working together as a team, learning how to deal with worst case scenarios designed for our business was great. I feel as though we are equipped to handle any sort of emergency concerning a staff or audience member, thanks to the realistic training given by EDMS.”

MARCH FASTER is our approach to accessing the patient, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) were also taught and discussed on day one. Then we did some scenario training in the Mercury Theatre auditorium. Excellent discussions came from this session and future planning for any eventuality is now being put  in to place.
